The apartment is situated in an exclusive central location in the heart of Berlin, on Hackescher Markt square, with its famous "Hackesche Höfe" courtyard ensemble, and in one of the 10 highest residential buildings in Germany. Most apartments in the building are actual homes, meaning that during your stay, you'll be living right next door to real Berliners. Alexanderplatz and the famous television tower are just a 5-minute walk away, as is Museumsinsel, an island complex of five internationally renowned museums. The boulevard Unter den Linden and Friedrichstraße shopping street are also within walking distance of 10 to 15 minutes. The Sea Life Center in the DomAquarée complex, with its amazing lift that travels right up through an aquarium, is also just 5 minutes away by foot. A wealth of trendy clubs, bars and restaurants can be found around Hackescher Markt and Oranienburger Straße. As parking space management in operation in the Mitte district means that most parking is pay and display or metered and in particular popular areas, it is very difficult to find anywhere to park, we recommended setting off to explore central Berlin on foot.

The area boasts a large number of cycle paths, while Monbijou Park is a great place to go jogging, or for a swim at the small open-air pool.
